Fictional company.Nightjar Aeroworks does not exist — this is a web-design prototype demonstrating a real-time 3D product configurator.
Tiny Byte Studio
A heavy-lift cinema airframe you specify to the job, not to the catalogue.
Three airframes, four camera blocks, one flight controller — configured
here, built in six weeks.
One controller. Three airframes. Nothing you have to re-learn.
Every V3 shares a flight stack, a battery format and a payload bus. Move
a crew from the Compact to the Heavy Lift and the muscle memory, the
spares and the pre-flight all carry over.
Airframe
Unidirectional carbon booms into machined 7075 clamps. The Compact and
Standard fold without tools; the Heavy Lift runs coaxial X8 for full
motor redundancy over people.
685 – 1120 mm diagonal
IP54, −10 °C to 45 °C
Arm swap in the field, 4 min
Optics
Three-axis heads balanced at the factory for the exact block you order.
Full-frame 8K, Super35 6K, or the prism-folded 200 mm periscope for
compression from stand-off distance.
0.008° stabilised accuracy
PL / LPL / E mounts
Timecode over the airframe bus
Autonomy
Repeat a dolly move to the centimetre with the RTK mast, or hand the
frame between two operators mid-shot. Interior passes run on the LiDAR
array with no GNSS at all.
RTK hold ±2 cm
Six-way sensing to 40 m
20 km dual-operator link
Configure
Build your V3.
Every choice below changes the aircraft in the viewport and recalculates
mass, endurance and noise from it. Drag to orbit, scroll to zoom.
3D viewport unavailable
This configurator needs WebGL, which this browser has not made
available. Every specification below still calculates — only the
aircraft preview is missing.

Figures are computed by the same model that drives the configurator. Reference
builds: Compact with S35 and pads; Standard with FF8, retracts and FPV;
Heavy Lift with the LX periscope, Cine-Quiet rotors, extended packs and skids.
Shot library
What crews bring back.
Frame references from the V3 platform, drawn as graphics rather than
photographs — this is a design prototype, so there is no real footage to
show and nothing here is presented as a real photograph.
Six weeks for Compact and Standard, nine for Heavy Lift and periscope
builds. Every head is balanced at the factory against your exact lens
set, so it arrives ready to fly rather than ready to tune.
02
Two days of training
Included with every airframe, on site or at the works. Two operators,
the full pre-flight, one emergency-procedure session and a signed-off
check ride.
03
Service, not tickets
A named engineer, a 48-hour loan airframe anywhere in the continental
US, and arm, motor and gimbal spares held in stock for eight years
from purchase.
Specify the aircraft, not the compromise.
Configure a V3 and we will quote it inside two working days.
We built the drone company to build the configurator.
Nightjar is a prototype, not a client. We invent a business when we want to
prove a technique end to end — a real product needs a real page around it,
and a configurator only means something if there's something to configure.
Real-time 3D in the browser
The airframe is generated procedurally in WebGL with three.js. No model files, no image assets — every part you see is drawn from code as you change it.
A configurator that holds state
Every combination resolves to a shareable link, so a build survives being sent to somebody else.
One static page
No framework and no build step, served from Cloudflare's edge — the same stack we ship client work on.
Got something that needs to be seen to be sold?If a product is hard to explain in a paragraph, it's usually worth letting people turn it around themselves.
Nightjar Aeroworks is a fictional company.
It has no products, no customers and no premises. The V3 platform, the
Aperture camera blocks, the specifications, the address and the telephone
number were all invented for this prototype, and the number sits in the 555
range reserved for fiction. Nothing on this page is a real offer or a real
product. The build is by Tiny Byte Studio — see the
other prototypes.
